Personal Response 2: Courtesy

Hi children. Time flies. We'll be doing our 2nd piece of Personal Response this week.
Let's visit the website of the Singapore Kindness Movement.

Bravo!
Read the four fables and give your opinion and comments about them. To guide you in writing your personal response, here are some questions :
  • What does 'courtesy' mean to you?
  • Which one of the fables impresses you most? Why?
  • 3. Do you think the pupils in our class are courteous? In what way/ways are they courteous or discourteous?
  • 4. How can we show our courtesy towards our friends, school mates, family members and others?
I hope to read your response soon.
From Mr. Ong

Courtesy means that being kind towards others.Like ask permission before borrowing stuff. If you snatch that person's stuff, you are not being courteous to your friends.I think that courtesy is important to us.I choose the GOOD MORNING (Tale from Bangladesh). I choose this because I know that it is our courtesy is to greet our teachers or friends in school.Something like being polite and kind too. Some are courteous some are not.To those who are courteous, they usually greet teachers walking pass them and asking about something politely. To those who are not are people who do not talk to teachers, prefects and friends politely instead shouting. We can show our courtesy among our friends ,school mates, family members and others by talking to them politely and greeting them when they come pass us.
